Vintage Brown 1917-1918 WWI S.B. FOOT TANNING CO. Leather Lace Up Boots

Through extensive research, we were able to find out, these boots came from the S.B. Foot Tanning Company in 1917-1918. This company was usually a leather supplier for big shoes companies like Red Wing Shoes; but during World War I, the United States Military needed all hands on deck to create boots for all the army officers. So, during 1914 to 1918, S.B. Foot Tanning Co. created their own boots. That was the only time they created had their own shoe brand.

Eventually in 1986, Red Wing Shoes acquired S.B. Foot Tanning Co., and they still use S.B.'s leather today. 

 

Material - Leather, Made in U.S.A.

 

CONDITION:

These S.B. Foot Tanning Boots are in Very Good Condition. 

There is wear to the boots, such as crease lines in the leather, wear to the soles, and minor knicks to the toes.

The Inside Width (Inside Widest Part of the Shoe): Measures Approximately 3-3/4"

 

The Outside Length (Outside Toe to Heel): Measures Approximately 11-1/2"

The Outside Width (Outside Widest Part of the Shoe): Measures Approximately 4-1/2"

The Height (Bottom of Sole to Top of Shoe/Boot): Measures Approximately 8-1/2"
